Kerala plane crash: plane broken in two parts, 17 people including pilot killed

At Kozhikode airport in Kerala, an AI aircraft flipped onto the runway. Due to which a big accident has been witnessed. The aircraft crashed and broke into two parts after the plane slipped on the runway. The aircraft was coming from Dubai under the Vande Bharat Mission, carrying 190 people. Many people have been injured in this accident. At the same time, 17 people have lost their lives, including both pilots, in the plane accident.

According to DGCA, Air India Express AXB1344, Boeing 737 was coming to Calicut from Dubai. There were 190 people on board. After landing on the runway due to heavy rain, the aircraft slipped and fell into the valley. At the same time, the aircraft broke into two. There were 190 people on board, 184 passengers and 6 crew members. There were also 10 children in the passengers.

According to DGCA, many people have been evacuated from the debris in the accident. Although both pilots have died, the cabin crew is safe there. However, a total of 17 people, including the pilots, have died so far in the plane crash. At the same time, all the people have been pulled out of the rubble.

PM talked

The Chief Minister’s Office of Kerala said that PM Narendra Modi has spoken to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan over the phone regarding the plane crash. The CM told the PM that a team of officials including Kozhikode and Malappuram District Collector and IG Ashok Yadav reached the airport and conducted a rescue operation.

Both pilots have lost their lives in this accident. At the same time, many people are reported injured. The NDRF team reached Kozhikode Airport for relief and rescue operations. NDRF personnel reached the spot. Consequently, NDRF teams were sent from Malappuram and Wayanad.

Helpline number released

CISF Director General Rajesh Ranjan said that our personnel helped in the rescue work. Additionally our personnel helped in evacuating the passengers aboard the aircraft. At the same time, helpline numbers (0565463903, 0543090572, 0543090572, 0543090575) have also been issued after the accident.

Admitted to hospital

Many people have been seriously injured in the plane crash. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The passengers who were being brought from Dubai under the Vanda India Mission in this aircraft were never expecting this dreadful turn in their lives.
